THUNDERSTORMS...A FEW OF THEM STRONG AND PRODUCING HEAVY RAIN...WERE
LOCATED NORTH OF A LINE FROM HOUSTON IN TEXAS COUNTY TO LAMAR IN BARTON
COUNTY.  THEY WERE MOVING TO THE EAST AT ABOUT 30 MPH.

STORMS THAT WERE ESPECIALLY STRONG WERE LOCATED NORTH OF BUFFALO IN
NORTHERN DALLAS COUNTY NEAR PLAD...IN SOUTHEAST POLK COUNTY NORTH OF
PLEASANT HOPE AND IN NORTHERN DADE COUNTY NORTH OF DADEVILLE.

THE AREAS AROUND LEBANON...ASH GROVE AND MARSHFIELD SHOULD EXPECT
PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN AND GUSTY WINDS BETWEEN 9 AND 11 AM CDT.

...A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH CENTRAL
MISSOURI THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

AT SHORTLY BEFORE 11 AM THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUED TO MOVE EAST ACROSS THE
NORTHERN COUNTIES OF THE REGION.  THEY WERE NORTH OF A LINE FROM
LEBANON TO GREENFIELD TO JOPLIN.

THE HEAVIEST RAIN WAS STILL IN KANSAS TO THE WEST OF LAMAR...GENERALLY
IN THE AREA AROUND PITTSBURG...GIRARD AND PARSONS.  THE MOST LIKELY
AREA FOR FLASH FLOODING BEFORE 1 PM IS IN BARTON COUNTY AROUND
LIBERAL...LAMAR AND GOLDEN CITY.  PEOPLE IN THOSE AREAS SHOULD BE ALERT
FOR ANY RAPID RISE ALONG SMALL STREAMS.  ESPECIALLY AVOID DRIVING INTO
WATER ACROSS ROADS THAT ARE NOT ABSOLUTLY FAMILIAR.
