NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED A CLUSTER OF SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS JUST OFFSHORE OF ASHTABULA COUNTY FROM GENEVA-ON-THE-LAKE.
THE STORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH. THESE STORMS WILL COME ONSHORE
ACROSS MUCH OF ASHTABULA COUNTY.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
HEAVY RAINS FLOOD ROADS QUICKLY SO DON'T DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE
WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
