THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SALT LAKE CITY HAS ISSUED A 
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  115 AM MDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN SOUTHWEST UTAH

   ...WESTERN WASHINGTON COUNTY

HEAVY RAINFALL HAS BEEN REPORTED OVER PARTS OF WESTERN WASHINGTON COUNTY
THIS EVENING.  1.50 INCHES OF RAIN IN A ONE HOUR PERIOD WAS REPORTED AT
THE TENNECO MINES AREA WITH WATER RUNNING OVER THE ROADS.  

THE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCING HEAVY RAIN WAS REPORTED BY RADAR TO BE
STATIONARY OVER THE SANTA CLARA DRAINAGE AND COULD CAUSE PROBLEMS DOWN
STREAM.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT. 
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE RISING WATER. 
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  REMEMBER...MANY ROADS AND TRAILS
PARALLEL EXISTING DRAINAGE PATTERNS AND MAY BE SWEPT AWAY BY FLOOD
WATERS.
