...A TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 700 PM CST FOR MUCH OF
SOUTHWEST MISSOURI...

AN AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS HAS FORMED OVER WESTERN
MISSOURI...EXTENDING FROM NEAR NEVADA SOUTH TO JOPLIN THEN SOUTH
INTO NORTHERN ARKANSAS. THE HEAVIEST THUNDERSTORMS WERE JUST NORTH-
EAST OF JOPLIN AND ABOUT 40 MILES SOUTH OF JOPLIN.

THIS AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WAS MOVING TO THE NORTH AT
30 MILES PER HOUR AND WILL CONTINUE OVER WESTERN MISSOURI THROUGH
400 PM.

NO SEVERE WEATHER HAS BEEN REPORTED AT THIS TIME BUT PERSONS ACROSS
SOUTHWEST MISSOURI SHOULD STAY TUNED TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO OR SOME
