500 PM CDT THU AUG 19 1993

...THUNDERSTORMS WILL PUSH THROUGH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...

ANOTHER ROUND OF SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE THROUGH CENTRAL
ILLINOIS EARLY THIS EVENING. AT 455 PM...A STRONG STORM WITH HEAVY
RAIN AND POSSIBLY SOME GUSTY WINDS WAS IN EXTREME SOUTHWEST MCLEAN
COUNTY NEAR THE TOWN OF MCLEAN...15 MILES SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF BLOOMINGTON.
THIS STORM WILL MOVE TO THE EAST ALONG ROUTE 136 BETWEEN 500 AND 600 PM.

OTHER SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE SCATTERED BETWEEN HENRY AND
HAVANA AT 455 PM. THIS RAINFALL...HEAVY AT TIMES...WILL AFFECT PEORIA
AND OTHER ADJACENT AREAS ALONG THE ILLINOIS RIVER VALLEY BETWEEN 500
AND 600 PM.

...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IN EFFECT UNTIL 1100 PM...

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH HAS BEEN POSTED FOR MUCH OF CENTRAL AND PART
OF WESTERN ILLINOIS...INCLUDING THE CITIES OF MACOMB...PEORIA...AND
BLOOMINGTON/NORMAL UNTIL 1100 PM.

STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WERE IN THE PEORIA AREA AT 540 PM. THESE STORMS
WILL PRODUCE BRIEF GUSTY WINDS...PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN AND DEADLY
LIGHTNING. THESE STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO MOVE OUT OF PEORIA SHORTLY BEFORE
600 PM AND WILL AFFECT EAST PEORIA...WASHINGTON...EUREKA AND EL PASO
BETWEEN AND 600 AND 700 PM.
