SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  830 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
 
IN SOUTH TEXAS
 
   ...NORTHERN WEBB COUNTY
 
AT 715 PM CDT...HONDO WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
20 MILES SOUTH OF COTULLA.  THE STORM WAS SITUATED ALONG INTERSTATE 35
BETWEEN COTULLA AND LAREDO.  MOVEMENT WAS TOWARD THE SOUTH AT 15 MPH.
 
MARBLE-SIZED HAIL...HEAVY RAIN AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING HAS BEEN REPORTED
WITH THIS STORM DURING THE PAST HOUR IN SOUTHERN LASALLE COUNTY.
 
PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM SHOULD BE ALERT TO THE POSSIBILITY
OF LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS.  FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND LOCALLY
HEAVY RAIN CAN OCCUR WITH ANY THUNDERSTORM.
 
THIS IS A SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORM AND IT MAY CAUSE FLOODING OF
SMALL STREAMS...LOW AREAS...AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
