321 PM CDT FRI JUL 10 1992

...THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING OUT OF EAST-CENTRAL KANSAS...

AT 310 PM THUNDERSTORMS WERE EXITING EXTREME EAST-CENTRAL KANSAS.  RADAR
INDICATED THE STORMS WERE 70 MILES SOUTHEAST OF TOPEKA AND SHOULD BE IN
WESTERN MISSOURI BY 4 PM.

LIGHT RAINSHOWERS WERE IN THE OTTAWA AREA AND THESE TOO SHOULD MOVE OUT
OF THE REGION BY 330 PM.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH CONTINUES FOR EAST-CENTRAL KANSAS UNTIL 8 PM
TONIGHT.  THERE IS STILL A GOOD CHANCE FOR REDEVELOPMENT OF
THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS NORTHEAST AND EAST-CENTRAL KANSAS THIS EVENING.
THOSE PLANNING OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES SHOULD KEvEP A WATCH ON THE WEATHER AND
BE PREPARED TO MOVE INDOORS IF STORMS APPROACH.

AT 630 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A THUNDERSTORM ALONG THE HARVEY MCPHERSON
COUNTY LINE.  THE STRONGEST PART OF THE STORM WAS 15 MILES NORTHEAST OF
HUTCHINSON OR NEAR MOUNDRIDGE.  THIS STORM WAS MOVING EAST NORTHEAST AT
25 MPH.

SMALL HAIL...DANGEROUS LIGHTNING...STRONG WINDS AND HEAVY RAIN CAN BE
EXPECTED FROM THIS STORM.

   KANSAS UNTIL 8 PM CDT...

AT 650 PM CDT...THERE WERE NO THUNDERSTORMS IN NORTHEAST OR EAST CENTRAL
KANSAS ALTHOUGH THERE WERE SHOWERS ABOUT 25 MILES SOUTHEAST OF EMPORIA
OR ABOUT 7 MILES SOUTH OF BURLINGTON IN SOUTHERN COFFEY COUNTY.

THERE WERE THUNDERSTORMS ABOUT 20 MILES WEST OF EMPORIA NEAR COTTONWOOD
FALLS...AND ABOUT 15 MILES SOUTH SOUTHWEST OF BURLINGTON NEAR YATES
CENTER. THESE STORMS HAVE BEEN MOVING SLOWLY TO THE EAST NORTHEAST
AT AROUND 10 MILES AN HOUR. THIS MOVEMENT WOULD BRING THE THUNDEERSTORM0S
SOUTH OF BURLINGTON INTO SOUTHERN COFFEY COUNTY BY 750 PM. THE THUNDER/
STORMS WEST OF EMPORIA MAY GET INTO SOUTHEAST MORRIS COUNTY TO THE SOUTH
OF COUNCIL GROVE BY 8 PM.
