AT 1140 AM CDT WEATHER SERVICE RADAR IN SHREVEPORT SHOWED WIDELY SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER NORTHEAST TEXAS NEAR MT VERNON. THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH. RADAR ALSO SHOWED AN AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER NORTH TEXAS THAT EXTENDED FROM NEAR BONHAM SOUTHWEST TO THE DALLASN/FORT WORTH AREA. THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE AND DEVELOP SOUTHEAST OVER NORTHEAST TEXAS.
