THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 715 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE SOUTHWEST PART OF MISSOURI
      BARTON...DADE

RADAR INDICATES A POSSIBLE TORNADO 40 MILES NORTH OF JOPLIN
OVER SOUTHEAST VERNON COUNTY MOVING TO THE SOUTH TO SOUTHEAST.

THE CITIES OF LAMAR...GOLDEN CITY...LOCKWOOD AND GREENFIELD ARE
IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM.

IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE TO BE IS IN
A BASEMENT.  GET UNDER A WORKBENCH OR PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE.
