THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1115 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE SOUTHWEST PART OF MISSOURI
      DADE...EASTERN JASPER

AT 1010PM CST RADAR AND PUBLIC REPORTS INDICATE HAIL WITH A
THUNDERSTORM IN THE JOPLIN AREA.  HAIL AT LEAST 1/2 INCH IN
DIAMETER IS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS STORM AND IT IS LIKELY THAT
LARGER HAIL WILL FALL FROM IT.  MOVEMENT WAS TOWARD THE NORTHEAST
AT 35 MPH.  THE CITIES OF CARTHAGE...LOCKWOOD AND GREENFIELD ARE
IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.  IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH...PREPARE FOR
DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...AND DEADLY LIGHTNING.  PEOPLE OUTSIDE
SHOULD MOVE TO SHELTER...PREFERABLY INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING.  ONCE
INSIDE...STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
