THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1100 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE SOUTHWEST PART OF MISSOURI
      LAWRENCE...EASTERN NEWTON

AT 1000 PM CST RADAR SHOWS A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WITH HAIL LIKELY
JUST TO THE NORTHEAST OF GRANBY.  MOVEMENT WAS TOWARD THE
NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH.  THIS STORM WILL PASS TO NEAR THE PIERCE
CITY AREA BY 1020 PM.

WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A
STRONG BUILDING.  DO NOT STAND NEAR WINDOWS.  DO NOT USE TELEPHONES
OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.  MOTORISTS
SHOULD AVOID LOW WATER CROSSINGS.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.  IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH...PREPARE FOR
DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...AND DEADLY LIGHTNING.  PEOPLE OUTSIDE
SHOULD MOVE TO SHELTER...PREFERABLY INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING.  ONCE
