THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 915 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA
      IREDELL

AT 710PM IREDELL COUNTY SHERRIFFS REPORTED SEVERAL BRIDGES
UNDER WATER. PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN MAY CONTINUE OVER THE COUNTY
FOR THE NEXT COUPLE HOURS.

NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL ONE...ON FOOT.
ESCAPE RISING WATER BY MOVING TO HIGHER GROUND.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOOD WATERS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED...
