THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ROSWELL HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 300 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE...

IN SOUTHEAST NEW MEXCIO...

        SOUTHERN EDDY COUNTY

AT 200 PM MDT A TORNADO WAS REPORTED ON THE GROUND JUST SOUTH OF THE
NEW MEXICO/TEXAS STATE LINE AND WAS MOVING NORTH AND NORTHEAST AT A
VERY SLOW RATE...ALSO 10 MILES SOUTH OF THE CARLSBAD AIRPORT THREE
SEPERATE FUNNEL CLOUDS WAS REPORTED BY A WEATHER SPOTTER.

THESE ARE DANGEROUS STORMS TAKE SHELTER NOW.

IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO GO TO A BASEMENT SHELTER OR A
CENTRAL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE
HOMES FOR A REINFORCED BUILDING.
