NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LUBBOCK TX
315 PM CDT THU APR 16 1992

...THUNDERSTORMS HAVE DEVELOPED ACROSS THE NORTHERN SOUTH PLAINS...

AT 310 PM CDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR WAS INDICATING STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS OVER HALE COUNTY.  THE THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDED FROM NORTH
OF ABERNATHY NORTHEASTWARD INTO THE SOUTHERN PANHANDLE.  THE STRONGEST
STORM WAS LOCATED 8 MILES NORTH OF ABERNATHY.  AT 300 PM CDT THE PUBLIC
REPORTED PEA SIZE HALE SOUTH OF HALE CENTER.

MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST 25 MILES AN HOUR.

DANGEROUS LIGHTNING...STRONG GUSTY WINDS...AND SMALL HAIL CAN BE
