THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PORT ARTHUR HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  130 PM CST
FOR PERSONS IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES
 
IN SOUTHEAST TEXAS

AT 1225 PM CST NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM IN NORTHERN LIBERTY COUNTY EXTENDING FROM NEAR FUQUA TO
JUST WEST OF HARDIN. THE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 30
MILES AN HOUR. THE SEVERE STORM WILL MOVE INTO WESTERN HARDIN COUNTY
WITHIN THE NEXT 15 TO 30 MINUTES.
 
A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FORj THE WARNED AREA.  REMEMBER
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES
WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.  REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO
RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
