FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  230 PM CST
FOR PERSONS IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES

AT 1230 PM CST WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING
HEAVY RAIN CONTINUED OVER ANGELINA AND SOUTHERN NACOGDOCHES COUNTIES.
THE THUNDERSTORMS ARE A PART OF AN AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
THAT EXTENDS FROM THE LAKES AREA TO JUST NORTH OF HOUSTON. WITH THE
STORMS MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH...HEAVY RAINFALL IS EXPECTED
THROUGH MUCH OF THE EARLY AFTERNOON.
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT.  MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPbS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY.  NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL
ONE...ON FOOT.  TO ESCAPE RISING WATER MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND.
