THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 930 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE NORTHEAST PART OF NEBRASKA
      PLATTE...COLFAX

AT 845 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED AND SPOTTERS HAVE REPORTED
TORNADOES WEST AND SOUTHWEST OF COLUMBUS.  THE STORMS ARE MOVING
NORTH AT 25 MPH AND PERSONS IN PLATTE AND COLFAX COUNTY ARE IN
THE PATH OF THESE STORMS.

ACT QUICKLY.  TAKE SHELTER IN THE INNERMOST PORTION OF THE BUILDING
ON THE LOWEST FLOOR.  GET TO A BASEMENT IF POSSIBLE.  AVOID MWINDOWS.
PROTECT YOURSELF FROM FLYING DEBRIS WITH CUSHIONS...BLANKETS OR
PILLOWS.

TO 30 MILES NORTHWEST OF NORTH PLATTE WITH THE STRONGEST STORM 15
MILES NORTHWEST OF OGALLALA NEBRASKA.
THE AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 15 MILES AN
HOUR.

BRIEF HEAVY RAIN..HAIL AND GUSTY SURFACE WIND AS THE SnTORMS
MOVE ACROSS KEITH COUNTY.

   CENTRAL NEBRASKA...

AT 818 PM CDT THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR ALL OF RED WILLOW AND
FRONTIER COUNTIES HAS EXPIRED.  THE THUNDERSTORMS WHICH WERE PRODUCING
THE SEVERE WEATHER HAVE DECREASED IN INTENSITY AND ARE NO LONGER
EXPECTED TO PRODUCE SEVERE WEATHER.

STRONG THUNDERSTORMS REMAIN ACROSS EAST FRONTIER COUNTY ABOUT 10 MILES
EAST OF MOOREFIELD OR ABOUT 40 MILES SOUTHEAST OF NORTH PLATTE AND 10
MILES EAST OF STOCKVILLE OR ABOUT 45 MILES SOUTHEAST OF NORTH PLATTE.
THESE THUNDERSTORMS MAY STILL BE PRODUCING SMALL HAIL ALONG WITH VERY
HEAVY RAIN.

THE THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE TO MOVE EAST AT 15 MILES AN HOUR.

MOST OF THE REMAINDER OF SOUTHWEST AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA HAVE
CLEARED WITH NO MORE SEVERE WEATHER EXPECTED.
