FLC107-109-301900- SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSONVILLE FL 1255 PM EDT THU JUL 30 1992 AT 1255 PM RADAR INDICATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS IN PUTNAM COUNTY NEAR INTERLACHEN EXTENDING SOUTH INTO MARION COUNTY. DURING THE PAST HOUR REPORTS HAVE BE RECIEVED OF ESTIMATED WIND GUST TO 40 MPH IN THE INTERLACHEN AREA. THE THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOVING TO THE EAST AT ABOUT 15 MPH. THE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE MOVING INTO THE PALATKA AREA AND SOUTHERN ST JOHNS COUNTY DURING THE NEXT 1 TO 2 HOURS. THE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE ACCOMPANIED BY STRONG GUSTY WIND...HEAVY RAIN...FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES AND POSSIBLY SMALL HAIL.
