000 TTAA00 KDAY 092217 COR FFWDAY OHC003-011-065-107-161-100115- BULLETIN FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DAYTON OH 614 PM EDT WED SEP 9 1992 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DAYTON HAS ISSUED A FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 915 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...... IN WEST CENTRAL OHIO ...ALLEN COUNTY...AUGLAIZE COUNTY...HARDIN COUNTY...MERCER COUNTY ...VAN WERT COUNTY NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADR AT 610 PM SHOWED HEAVY RAIN HAD CONTINUED TO FALL OVER OVER MUCH OF WEST CENTRAL OHIO. THIS RAIN IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE TILL AFTER 900 PM EDT. RAINFALL IN EXCESS OF THREE AND A HALF INCHES HAD BEEN REPORTED IN NORTHWEST ALLEN COUNTY. THE SHERIFF DEPARTMENTS HAVE REPORTED HIGH WATER OVER MANY ROADWAYS AND CITY STREETS. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. MOVE TO ^HIGHER GROUND. TORRENCE ...CORRECTED FOR PROPER ISSUANCE...

AND MERCER COUNTIES AT 530 PM EDT. THIS HAD CAUSED MUCH PONDING AND STANDING OF WATER IN CITY STREETS OF LIMA AND OTHER TOWNS AROUND THE AREA. MOST OF THE HEAVY RAIN HAD ENDED ACROSS THESE COUNTIES...HOWEVER THE HEAVY RAIN IS EXPECTED TO SPREAD EAST INTO AUGLAIZE COUNTY AND SOME PONDING AND STANDING WATER CAN BE EXPECTED.
