...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH INCLUDES UPSTATE UNTIL 400 PM EST...
AT 1130 AM WEATHER RADAR SHOWED THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING ACROSS NORTHERN
GEORGIA AND WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA...AND JUST MOVING INTO OCONEE COUNTY
IN SOUTH CAROLINA.  SOME OF THESE STORMS COULD BECOME SEVERE A LITTLE
LATER.

HOWEVER...THE MAIN THREAT FOR THE UPSTATE SHOULD OCCUR LATER THIS
AFTERNOON AS THUNDERSTORMS CURRENTLY IN NORTH ALABAMA AND TENNESEE MOVE
TOWARD THE UPSTATE.  THE ATMOSPHERE WILL HAVE BECOME VERY UNSTABLE BY
THE TIME THE STORMS REACH US.

AT THIS TIME IT APPEARS THAT LARGE HAIL !WILL BE THE BIGGEST THREAT...A
FEW PLACES IN THE UPSTATE COULD HAVE A SIGNIFICANT HAILSTORM.  THERE
WILL ALSO BE A THREAT OF DAMAGING WINDS IF THE STORMS MOVE ACROSS.
