...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR SOUTHWEST OF SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA
UNTIL 600 AM CDT TUESDAY MORNING...

THUNDERSTORMS...SOME SEVERE...WERE OVER SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA.  THESE
THUNDERSTORMS WERE PART OF A LARGE AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDESTORMS
THAT COVERED MUCH OF CENTRAL NEBRASKA.  THE STRONGEST WERE FROM
BROKEN BOW TO NORTH PLATTE...WITH THE STRONGEST AT NORTH PLATTE.

THE AREA OF PRECIPITATION WAS IN AN AREA 70 MILES WIDE...WEST OF A LINE
FROM THE SOUTH DAKOTA STATELINE 40 MILES NORTHEAST OF ONEILL TO 35 MILES
NORTH OF GRAND ISLAND TO  HOLDREGE.

THE STORMS WERE MOVING TOWARDS THE EAST SOUTHEAST AT 40 MPH...INCREASING
IN INTENSITY.  COVERAGE REMAINED UNCHANGED.
