      NORTHERN CASS...SOUTHERN TRAILL...

   IN THE NORTHWEST PART OF MINNESOTA
      PENNINGTON...

AT 440 PM CDT WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM THIEF RIVER FALLS MINNESOTA TO NEAR
VALLEY CITY IN NORTH DAKOTA...MOVING EAST NORTHEAST AT 25 MILES
AN HOUR.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.  IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH...PREPARE FOR
DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...AND DEADLY LIGHTNING.  PEOPLE OUTSIDE
SHOULD MOVE TO SHELTER...PREFERABLY INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING.  ONCE
INSIDE...STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.

REMEMBER...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE

BARNES COUNTY...15 MILES WEST OF VALLEY CITY. VERY HEAVY RAINS...GUSTY
WINDS...DANGEROUS LIGHTNING...AND HAIL ARE POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS.

MOVEMENT WAS TO THE EAST-SOUTHEAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR.

PERSONS IN BARNES COUNTY...AND ESPECIALLY THE COMMUNITY OF VALLEY CITY
SHOULD BE PREPARED TO TAKE COVER AS THESE STORMS APPROACH.
