NDZ012-013-014-015-016-017-018-MNZ001-006-007-010-011-013-242230- SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT AND RADAR SUMMARY NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FARGO ND 430 PM CDT WED JUN 24 1992 ...THUNDERSTORMS MOVING RAPIDLY SOUTHEAST THROUGH NORTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA AND NORTHWEST MINNESOTA... AT 430 PM THUNDERSTORMS...SOME WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN AND RAINSHOWERS WERE LOCATED OVER NORTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA AND WERE MOVING INTO NORTHWEST MINNESOTA. THE STRONGEST OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED 50 MILES NORTH OF GRAND FORKS NORTH DAKOTA AND 20 MILES SOUTH OF DEVILS LAKE NORTH DAKOTA. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE PRODUCING BRIEF VERY HEAVY RAIN WITH SMALL HAIL REPORTED EARLIER OVER NORTH CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING RAPIDLY SOUTHEAST AT 35 TO 40 MILES AN HOUR AND WILL MOVE INTO WESTERN MARSHALL COUNTY OF MINNESOTA BY 530 PM AND INTO GRIGGS AND STEELE COUNTIES OF NORTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA BY 530 PM. PERSONS NEAR ANY OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD REMAIN ALERT FOR RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS. PLEASE STAY TUNED TO YOUR LOCAL RADIO AND TV STATIONS AS WELL AS NOAA WEATHER RADIO FOR LATEST INFORMATION ON THESE THUNDERSTORMS. ANDERSEN
