SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 245 AM CST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
IN SOUTH TEXAS
...WEBB COUNTY...INCLUDING THE CITY OF LAREDO AND SURROUNDING
METROPOLITAN AREA...
AT 120 AM CST...RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 35 MILES WEST OF
LAREDO. MOVEMENT WAS TOWARD THE EAST AT 30 MPH. LARGE HAIL IS
INDICATED BY RADAR IN THIS STORM.
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WINDS CAN REACH SPEEDS OVER 60 MPH. THESE WINDS
BLOW DOWN TREES...POWER LINES...AND SEVERELY DAMAGE MOBILE HOMES...
SOMETIMES BUILDINGS. VERY LARGE HAIL CAN INJURE ANYONE CAUGHT
