FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  800 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
 
IN SOUTH TEXAS
 
   ...MAVERICK COUNTY
 
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS AGAIN WERE INTENSIFYING OVER MAVERICK
COUNTY. LITTLE MOVEMENT WAS INDICATED BY RADAR. RAINFALL AMOUNTS IN
EXCESS OF SIX INCHES HAVE BEEN REPORTED WITHIN THE COUNTY ALONG SOME
SOME FLOODING.
 
AVOID ALREADY FLOODED AREAS.  TRAVELERS SHOULD NOT ATTEMPT TO
CROSS FLOODED ROADS.  IF YOUR VEHICLE STALLS...LEAVE IT AND MOVE
IMMEDIATELY TO HIGHER GROUND.
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT.  IT IS
IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE RELATIVE TO STREAMS...RIVERS...OR
CREEKS WHICH CAN BECOME KILLERS IN HEAVY RAINS.  CAMPERS AND OTHER

THE WARNING AREA SHOULD MOVE TO HIGH GROUND IMMEDIATELY.
