A FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR THE CATSKILLS FOR THE REST OF THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. HEAVY RAIN COULD CAUSE RAPID RISES OF CREEKS AND STREAMS IN THE CATSKILLS...AND FLOODING IS POSSIBLE THERE. SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH 6:00 PM ACROSS EASTERN NEW YORK AND NEW ENGLAND. ONE STORM...BETWEEN WATERFORD AND CLIFTON PARK IN SARATOGA COUNTY... WILL MOVE ACROSS THE HUDSON RIVER TO TROY BY 5:30 PM THIS EVENING. OTHER STORMS...FROM PRATTSVILLE TO TANNERSVILLE WILL MOVE TO CAIRO AND HAINES FALLS BY 5:30 PM.
