RADAR AT 650 PM SHOWED NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS OVER NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS. THE STORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST 35 MPH. THE THUNDERSTORMS HAD ENTERED WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI NORTH OF VERNON COUNTY. THE THUNDERSTORMS OVER NORTHEA*ST OKLAHOMA WILL MOVE INTO THE SOUTHWEST PART OF MISSOURI BY 800 PM. TORNADO WATCH NUMBER 276 IS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT FOR MUCH OF SOUTHWEST MISSOURI INCLUDING THE CITIES OF JOPLIN AND SPRINGFIELD. LEE
