IN SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA ...FILMORE COUNTY...SOUTHEASTERN OLMSTED COUNTY ...SOUTHWESTERN WINONA COUNTY THIS WARNING INCLUDES THE TOWNS OF WYKOFF...PRESTON...LANESBORO... RUSHFORD...TROY...AND FORESTVILLE STATE PARK. AT 1240 PM CDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED 15 MILES SOUTHEAST OF ROCHESTER NORTH OF THE TOWN OF SPRING VALLEY. THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 45 MPH. WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH..MAKE THIS A DANGEROUS STORM. YOU SHOULD PREPARE FOR STRONG WINDS..LARGE HAIL..DEADLY LIGHTNING AND HEAVY RAIN BY MOVING TO SHELTER IN A STRONG BUILDING. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO WARNING.
