IN SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA ...EASTERN WABASHA COUNTY THIS WARNING INCLUDES THE TOWNS OF ELGIN...PLAINVIEW...AND WABASHA. WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FROM NEAR ELGIN...EAST TO THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER NEAR WEAVER...MOVING TO THE NORTH AT 15 MILES AN HOUR. IN ADDITION...WINDS WERE ESTIMATED AT 60 MILES AN HOUR AT MINNEISKA. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
