...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR THE EASTERN TWO-THIRDS
OF THE SOUTH PLAINS UNTIL 9 PM CDT THIS TUESDAY EVENING...

AT 615 PM RADAR INDICATED SHOWERS AND A FEW STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS
CENTRAL SECTIONS OF THE SOUTH PLAINS.  THE STRONGER STORMS IN THE SOUTH
PLAINS WERE IN EASTERN HALE COUNTY...AND NORTHEAST LUBBOCK COUNTY.
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE ALSO WIDELUY SCATTERED OVER GARZA
COUNTY IN THE SOUTHEAST PORTION OF THE SOUTH PLAINS.

MOVEMENT OF ALL SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WAS NORTHEAST AT 25 MILES
AN HOUR.
