THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1100 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE PANHANDLE OF NEBRASKA
      CENTRAL SCOTTS BLUFF...THE CITIES OF SCOTTSBLUFF AND 
      GERING

AT 1026 PM MDT...RADAR INDICATED A TORNADO 5 MILES SOUTHWEST OF
SCOTTSBLUFF NEBRASKA MOVING NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH.

TAKE SHELTER IN A BASEMENT IF AVAILABLE.  OTHERWISE GO TO A SMALL
INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR.  STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.  ABANDON
CARS AND MOBILE HOMES.

THIS WARNING CANCELS THE TORNADO WARNING ISSUED FOR WESTERN BANNER
COUNTY.

SINCE 600 PM...WIDELY SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS HAD DEVELOPED RAPIDLY
OVER THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF WYOMING.  AT 655 PM...THE STRONGEST
STORM WAS JUST NORTHWEST OF PINE BLUFFS OR SOME 35 MILES EAST OF
CHEYENNE.  ANOTHER STRONG STORM WAS ABOUT 15 MILES SOUTHWEST OF
TORRINGTON...IN SOUTHERN GOSHEN COUNTY.

ALL OF THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING NORTH AT 20 MILES AN HOUR.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE IN THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF
WYOMING UNTIL AROUND 10 PM THIS EVENING.  A FEW OF THESE STORMS MAY
PRODUCE BRIEF HEAVY RAIN...SMALL HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS.
