THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SMALL STREAM FLOOD
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1100 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
COUNTIES

   IN THE EAST CENTRAL PART OF LOWER MICHIGAN
      ARENAC...

HEAVY RAINS OF OVER AN INCH...THAT FELL LAST NIGHT AND THIS MORNING
...HAVE LEFT SWOLLEN RIVERS AND STREAMS IN ARENAC COUNTY...ESPECIALLY
ALONG THE PINE RIVER...JUST EAST OF STANDISH.

THE SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT INDICATED THAT TWO HOMES WERE FLOODED...AND
THAT RESIDENTS WERE FORCED TO EVACUATE.

LIGHT RAIN WILL CONTINUE THIS EVENING...BEFORE CHANGING OVER TO
SNOW AROUND MIDNIGHT.  THIS WILL ALLOW THE SMALL STEAMS AND RIVERS
TO SLOWLY START TO RECEDE LATE TONIGHT.

IF YOU ARE IN ARENAC COUNTY...ESPECIALLY ALONG THE PINE RIVER...
BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IF RISING WATER IS OBSERVED.
