000 TTAA00 KFSM 170226 SVRFSM ARC007-170300- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FORT SMITH AR 925 PM CDT MON APR 16 1990 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN FORT SMITH HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN NORTHWEST ARKANSAS ...EASTERN BENTON COUNTY AT 920 PM WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER ROGERS ARKANSAS. HALF INCH HAIL AND WINDS TO 55 MPH HAVE BEEN REPORTED IN ROGERS. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. FOR YOUR PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LO<WEST FLOOR OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS. HEAVY RAINS FLOOD ROADS QUICKLY SO DON'T DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
