THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES ...
 
IN EAST CENTRAL OKLAHOMA
 
   ...OKFUSKEE COUNTY
 
IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA

AT 720 PM...RADAR INDICATED AN AREA OF HEAVY RAIN MOVING INTO THE
ABOVE COUNTIES. THE CREEK COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE REPORTED THAT CREEKS
WERE BEGINNING TO OVERFLOW THEIR BANKS. RAINFALL REPORTS INDICATE THAT
MANY AREAS HAVE RECEIVED OVER 2 INCHES OF RAIN SINCE 7AM...BRINGING
TOTALS TO OVER 4 7INCHES. THE HEAVY RAIN MOVING INTO THE AREA TONIGHT
WILL AGRAVATE AN ALREADY DANGEROUS SITUATION.
