703 PM CST TUE MAR 13 1990

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 745 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE NORTH CENTRAL PART OF KANSAS
      JEWELL

AT 700 PM CST A TORNADO WAS REPORTED ON THE GROUND BY THE JEWELL
COUNTY SHERIFF NEAR RANDALL WHICH IS 20 MILES WEST NORTHWEST OF
CONCORDIA.  THE TORNADO WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH AND WILL
MOVE TO NEAR FORMOSA BY 725 PM CST.

THIS TORNADO WAS ON THE GROUND AND CAUSING DAMAGE.  ALL PEOPLE
NEAR THIS DANGEROUS STORM SHOULD TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY.  FIND
SHELTER BELOW GROUND LEVEL...IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.  TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY.  GET TO AN
UNDERGROUND SHELTER IF POSSIBLE.  DON'T HESITATE...A FEW SECONDS
MIGHT SAVE YOUR LIFE.
