WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 715 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
COUNTY
IN THE CENTRAL PART OF KANSAS
DICKINSON
AT 605 PM CDT RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 15 MILES NORTH
EAST OF SALINA OR 10 MILES WEST OF ABILENE MOVING NORTHEAST AT
20 MPH. THIS STORM WILL BE IN THE ABILENE AREA BY 620 PM CDT.
PEOPLE IN THE WARNED AREA SHOULD GET INTO A REINFORCED SHELTER AND
PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN AND
DANGEROUS LIGHTNING. THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM MAY PRODUCE LARGE
HAIL GREATER THAN 3/4 INCH IN DIAMETER...DESTRUCTIVE WINDS OF OVER
60 MPH AND HEAVY RAINS WHICH MAY FLOOD LOW LYING AREAS.
