000 TTAA00 KPNS 031439 SVRPNS FLC033-113-031545- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PENSACOLA FL 838 AM CST MON DEC 3 1990 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PENSACOLA HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 945 AM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN NORTHWEST FLORIDA ...ESCAMBIA COUNTY...SANTA ROSA COUNTY A SOLID LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS...SOME SEVERE...EXTENDED FROM NORTH ESCAMBIA COUNTY OF FLORIDA SOUTHWEST TO THE MOUTH OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER. THIS LINE WAS MOVING TOWARD THE SOUTHEAST ABOUT 20 MILES AN HOUR AND WILL BE MOVING THROUGH THE NORTHWEST FLORIDA AREA THIS MORNING. A FEW TORNADO TOUCHDOWNS HAVE BEEN REPORTED IN SOUTHWEST ALABAMA WITH THE PASSAGE OF THIS LINE. TORNADO WARNINGS MAY BE REQUIRED FOR COUNTIES AROUND NORTHWEST FLORIDA DURING THE NEXT FEW HOURS. WIND GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 55 MILES AN HOUR ARE POSSIBLE WITH THE PASSAGE OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS. STAY INDOORS AND AWAY FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE THUNDERSTORMS CLEAR THE AREA. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
