   EVENING FOR NORTHERN WEST VIRGINIA...

WEATHER RADAR AT 220 PM EDT INDICATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS
UPSHUR...NORTHEASTERN WEBSTER AND SOUTHWEST RANDOLPH COUNTIES OF
OF WEST VIRGINIA. THESE STORMS ARE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 20 TO 25 MPH.

STRONG GUSTY WINDS...DANGEROUS LIGHTNING...HAIL AND HEAVY DOWNPOURS
MAY ACCOMPANY THE PASSAGE OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS. PONDING OF WATER ON
HIGHWAYS AND POUR DRAINAGE AREAS COULD RESULT IN AREAS OF HEAVY
DOWNPOURS.

THUNDERSTORMS HAVE DEVELOPED OVER MAINLY CENTRAL WEST VIRGINIA... AND
HAVE BEEN MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST.  SOME OF THE STORMS HAVE GROWN
LARGE ENOUGH TO PRODUCE PEA SIZE HAIL... AS PER A REPORT FROM CLAY
COUNTY.  HOWEVER... NO THUNDERSTORMS ARE REPORTED AS BEING SEVERE.

THIS HOT AND VERY MOIST AIR MASS IS PRIMED FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF
THUNDERSTORMS AND WITH THE AID OF A LOW-LEVEL BOUNDARY STRETCHING
ACROSS THE STATE...THUNDERSTORM FORMATION AND INTENSIFICATION HAS A
GREAT POSSIBILITY.
