URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  330 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN NORTH WEST VIRGINIA
 
   ...WESTERN HARRISON COUNTY...WESTERN LEWIS COUNTY...MARION COUNTY
 
SMALL STREAM AND POOR DRAINAGE FLOODING CONTINUES IN THE SALEM AREA OF
HARRISON COUNTY. SOME HIGHWAYS ARE REPORTED CLOSED BY WATER. WEATHER
RADAR CONTINUES TO SHOW RAIN, WITH SOME AREAS OF HEAVIER
PRECIPITATION, EXTENDING FROM WESTERN LEWIS COUNTY THROUGH WESTERN
HARRISON INTO MARION COUNTY. AUTOMATED RAINGAGES ACROSS WESTERN LEWIS
COUNTY INDICATE THAT FROM 1.50 TO 1.75 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN THERE
IN THE PAST 12 HOURS. SOME FLOODING TO SMALL STREAMS AND POOR DRAINAGE
AREAS IS LIKELY ACROSS WESTERN LEWIS COUNTY NORTH INTO MARION COUNTY.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
