URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1215 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN NORTH WEST VIRGINIA
 
   ...WESTERN HARRISON COUNTY
 
MINOR FLOODING IS REPORTED IN THE TOWN OF SALEM AS SALEM FORK HAS
OVERFLOWED UNTO A SECTION OF LIBERTY STREET. WEATHER RADAR INDICATES
THE HEAVIEST RAIN IS FALLING ACROSS THE WESTERN SECTIONS OF LEWIS AND
HARRISON COUNTIES AND EASTERN DODDRIDGE COUNTY. POLK CREEK IN LEWIS
COUNTY IS RISING. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL COULD PUSH POLK CREEK OUT OF ITS
BANKS. SMALL STREAMS ARE REPORTED HIGH IN EASTERN DODDRIDGE COUNTY,
BUT STILL IN THEIR BANKS.
 
KEEP A CLOSE WATCH ON STREAM LEVELS. TAKE NECESSARY ACTION IF WATER
LEVELS START RISING.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
