AT 655 PM WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN EXTREME
SOUTHEASTERN NASH COUNTY. THIS THUNDERSTORM DROPPED DIME SIZE HAIL AND
DOWNED TREES IN NASH COUNTY. THE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING EAST
SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH AND WILL ENTER EDGECOMBE COUNTY AROUND 7 PM.
 
 
PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM SHOULD BE ALERT FOR LARGE HAIL AND
DAMAGING WINDS. FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN CAN OCCUR
WITH ANY THUNDERSTORM.
