000 TTAA00 KRDU 010055 SVRRDU NCC065-127-010200- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RALEIGH NC 854 PM EDT SAT JUN 30 1990 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RALEIGH HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN NORTHEAST NORTH CAROLINA ...EDGECOMBE COUNTY...NASH COUNTY AT 850 PM WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN NASH COUNTY. HIGH WINDS FROM THIS STORM DOWNED TREES AS IT MOVED THROUGH FRANKIN COUNTY. THE STORM WAS MOVING EASTWARD AT 15 MPH AND WILL LIKELY PASS OVER OR NEAR THE CITY OF ROCKY MOUNT BY 915 MP. PERSONS IN NASH AND EDGECOMBE COUNTY SHOULD BE PREPARED nFOR DAMAGING HIGH WINDS AND FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING. .
