000 TTAA00 KRDU 032303 SVRRDU NCC183-032345- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RALEIGH NC 701 PM EDT SUN JUN 3 1990 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RALEIGH HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 745 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTH CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA ...NORTHERN WAKE COUNTY AT 655 PM RALEIGH POLICE REPORTED GOLF BALL SIZE HAIL IN NORTHWEST RALEIGH IN WAKE _COUNTY. THIS STORM IS MOVING TO THE EAST NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH. PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM SHOULD BE ALERT FOR LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS. OTHER THUNDERSTORMS WERE OCCURRING OVER THE NORTHWEST PIEDMONT. THESE STORMS WILL MOVE INTO THE NORTHEAST PIEDMONT BY 7 PM THIS EVENING.
