SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND FLASH FLOOD WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 PM MST
FOR THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

IN NORTHWEST ARIZONA
   ...MOHAVE COUNTY
   ...WESTERN YAVAPAI COUNTY

IN SOUTHWEST ARIZONA
   ...LA PAZ COUNTY
   ...EXTREME NORTHWEST MARICOPA COUNTY

A LARGE MASS OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER MUCH OF NORTHWEST ARIZONA
CONTINUES TO MOVE TO THE WEST AND SLIGHTLY TO THE SOUTH.

THESE STORMS HAVE BEEN BRINGING STRONG DAMAGING WINDS AND ACCOMPANIED
BY VERY HEAVY RAINS WITH LOCAL FLASH FLOODING. THESE STORMS NORMALLY
PRODUCE THE STRONGEST WINDS IN THE LOWER DESERTS.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAUSE DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL AND DEADLY
LIGHTNING. MOVE INSIDE A REINFORCED BUILDING OR STORM SHELTER. GO TO
AN INTERIOR ROOM OR HALLWAY ON THE LOWEST FLOOR. STAY AWAY FROM
WINDOWS.

WATCH OUT FOR FLASH FLOODING. STAY AWAY FROM STREAMS AND AVOID NARROW
STEEP WALLED CANYONS. DONT DRIVE ACROSS FLOODED STREAMS OR WASHES...
OR INTO FLOODED CITY STREtETS OR UNDERPASSES.
