000 TTAA00 KMGM 221857 SVRMGM ALC045-067-069-222000- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MONTGOMERY AL 153 PM CDT WED AUG 22 1990 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MONTGOMERY HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 300 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN SOUTH ALABAMA ...DALE COUNTY...HENRY COUNTY...HOUSTON COUNTY AT 155PM CDT WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FROM WESTERN DALE COUNTY TO 20 MILES EAST OF NEWVILLE IN HENRY COUNTY. THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING TOWARD THE SOUTHEAST AT 15 MPH. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGqHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. FOR YOUR PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS. HEAVY RAINS FLOOD ROADS QUICKLY SO DON'T DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
