AT 715 PM A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WAS MOVING INTO THE WESTERN
PORTION OF HANCOCK COUNTY. THE WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE IN NEW ORLEANS
REPORTED LARGE HAIL...STRONG WINDS...AND A TORNADO HAD OCCURRED WHEN
THE LINE WAS MOVING THROUGH LOUISIANA.
 
THE LINE WAS MOVING EAST AT 20 MPH.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
