AT 203 AM A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WAS LOCATED FROM 20 MILES
NORTHWEST OF THOMASVILLE IN CLARKE COUNTY ALABAMA SOUTHWEST TO THE
LOUISIANA-MISSISSIPPI BORDER ALONG THE PEARL RIVER. A VERY INTENSE
THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY RADAR 10 MILES NORTHWEST OF PICAYUNE
MISSISSIPPI.
 
 
 
 
A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.  REMEMBER
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES

...TORNADO WATCH IN EFFECT FOR ALL OF SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI AND
SOUTHWEST ALABAMA AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS UNTIL 600 AM...

AT 1235 AM THE MOBILE RADAR SHOWED A LINE OF VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORMS
FROM EAST CENTRAL TO SOUTHWEST MISSISSIPPI SOUTHWEST INTO CENTRAL
LOUISIANA.  THE LINE WAS MOVING TOWARD THE EAST AT 40 MPH WHILE THE
INDIVIDUAL THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHEAST AT 45 MPH.

THIS LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE INTO PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST
MISSISSIPPI BEFORE 200 AM.  RESIDENTS OF THE AREA SHOULD BE PREPARED
FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF SEVERE WEATHER AND REMAIN ALERT.
