A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH CONTINUES IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM CDT FRIDAY
MORNING JUNE 22, 1990 FOR ALL OF NORTHEAST ARKANSAS AND WESTERN
TENNESSEE AND PART OF NORTHWEST MISSISSIPPI.

AT 1145 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR IN MEMPHIS SHOWED AN AREA OF
THUNDERSTORMS IN NORTHEAST ARKANSAS MOVING TO THE EAST AT AROUND 20
MPH. THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD REACH THE MEMPHIS AREA BY AROUND 1 AM.

REPORTS RECEIVED FROM NORTHEAST ARKANSAS HAVE INDICATED VERY HEAVY
RAIN AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING WITH THESE STORMS. PEA TO MARBLE SIZED
HAIL WAS REPORTED IN SEVERAL LOCATIONS IN CRAIGHEAD COUNTY DURING THE
HOUR.

PEOPLE IN NORTHEAST ARKANSAS...WESTERN TENNESSEE AND NORTHWEST
MISSISSIPI SHOULD STAY ALERT TO WEATHER CONDITIONS IN YOUR AREA AND

              RELAYED BY BATESVILLE MISSISSIPPI HIGHWAY PATROL.

IN ADVANCE OF THIS LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS...ISOLATED VERY STRONG
THUNDERMSTORMS DEVELOPED IN NORTHWEST TUNICA COUNTY IN MISSISSIPPI AND
IN SOUTHWEST TENNESSEE.
