THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED 10 MILES NORTH OF RIPLEY IN TIPPAH COUNTY...NEAR TISHOMINGO IN TISHOMINGO COUNTY...7 MILES WEST OF AMORY IN MONROE COUNTY AND NEAR WEST POINT IN CLAY COUNTY. THESE STORMS WILL PRODUCE VERY HEAVY RAIN...STRONG GUSTY WIND IN THE 40 TO 50 MPH RANGE...FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES AND HAIL AS THE MOVE SOUTHEAST ACORSS NORTHEAST MISSISSIPPI THIS AFTERNOON. YOU SHOULD STAY ALERT AND BE PREPARED TO SEEK A SAFE SHELTER IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES. THESE STORMS WILL ALSO PRODUCE PONDING OF WATER ON STREETS AND ROADWAYS.
