AT 225 PM CDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING OVER THE SOUTH PLAINS...SOME WITH LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINFALL. THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED 8 MILES NORTH
OF TOKIO IN NORTHERN YOAKUM COUNTY...2 MILES SOUTH OF WHITEFACE IN
SOUTHEAST COCHRAN COUNTY AND 8 MILES SOUTH OF LUBBOCK IN LUBBOCK
COUNTY.
MOVEMENT WAS NORTH AT 10 MPH.
THE SLOW MOVEMENT OF THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MAY PRODUCE LOCALLY
